Advancing the fight against cyber threats @ Govware 2014 - hometeam.sg

23 Sep 2014. GovernmentWare 2014 brought a diversity of innovations designed to combat modern-day cyber threats and viruses.

A developing, growing range of cyber threats also means the continuous need to advance technology. This year’s GovernmentWare (Govware) showcases up-to-date innovations of major private companies as well as schools that equip our devices to combat online threats.

Singapore Polytechnic (SP) produced three creations, one of which is a malicious software (malware) detection website named “Open Bouncer”. Part of students Reuben Tan’s, Ngoh Guang Wei’s, Russell Chua’s and James Teoh’s Final Year Project (FYP) in collaboration with the University of Victoria, the Open Bouncer is an open platform to detect Android malware.
