18 Dec 2013. A new academy aimed at training IT professionals in cyber security
has been launched.
The Cyber Security Academy, housed at Singapore Polytechnic, is the result of
deal with Ixia Asia-Pacific.
Speaking at the academy's launch on Wednesday, Ixia Asia-Pacific vice
president and general manager Naveen Bhat said the threat of cyber security is
increasing.
"Modern cyber attack is like a tropical storm -- the scale and impact are
hard to predict," he said.
