DISM Alumni - Emil Tan

Emil Tan,
Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA),
DISM Class of 2009.

Emil is seconded from the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) to Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA)’s Cybersecurity Engineering Centre as a technical consultant. He is responsible for cybersecurity technology and R&D planning. He received the National Infocomm Scholarship (NIS) in 2009 to pursue a Bachelor Degree of Science in Computer Science and Master of Science in Information Security at Royal Holloway, University of London. 

Emil is also the cofounder of Division Zero (Div0), Singapore’s largest cybersecurity community group, and a Chapter Lead of Singapore’s Honeynet Project, an international non-profit research organisation dedicated to improve internet security.
