The DSO Diploma Scholarship was started in April 2014 with the objective of identifying talents at Diploma level, and encouraging them to consider a career in defence technology.
It is a bond-free scholarship, renewable each year as long as the student meets the following criteria:
- Stays within the same course/discipline
- Achieves a GPA of at least 3.5/4
As part of
the Diploma Scholarship, the student is required to serve an internship with
DSO so that he/she can understand the work involved in defence R&D.
