Cyber Wargame Centre @ Singapore Polytechnic

The Cyber Wargame Centre @ Singapore Polytechnic is a suite of facilities for Diploma in Infocomm Security Management (DISM) S54 students from the School of Digital Media and Infocomm Technology. The centre, which is the FIRST of its kind in local tertiary education institutes, trains students to handle real-world cyber security scenarios, with a different learning space for each aspect.

The Cyber Range sees students practicing ethical hacking, the Cyberwatch Competency Centre gives access to defensive technologies, the Malware Analysis Lab allows students to "play" with malicious software safely and the Forensics Investigation Lab teaches both mobile and computer/digital forensics.

One of the important questions to ask in choosing which security diploma to pursue, is the availability of facilities to students to practice security related skills, ranging from ethical hacking, malware analysis, to security incident management, etc. As such, it is crucial to establish the fact between "labs already in operation" versus "labs still in development".

SP always pride itself as it always remain at the technology frontier and the staff continue to keep abreast with the latest IT security related technologies. Most importantly, the ultimate beneficiaries are our students, which will receive quality education and training at Singapore Polytechnic.
