3 Jan 2010. All final-year students undertake a major practical or industry project where they work in groups of 4 to 5. They carry out feasibility study, design, development, testing and implementation of the project.
Each year, top projects from the School are selected and featured in the annual Singapore Polytechnic Innovations Exhibition called SPINNOVEX for short. As only a limited number of projects can be featured, students work hard to ensure that the projects are selected for this event.
This year, 2 of our DISM projects were selected to present at the SPINNOVEX 2010.
1) Secured Self-Service Demo System by Lim Wen Ping, Samuel Lee Zhen Wei, Edward Heng Aik Hwang (Leader), Weng Zhen Han and Augustine Tan Jian Zhong (Asst Leader).
2) Wireless HoneySpot by Lee Yuan Guang, Loi Liang Yang (Leader), Darren Foong and Justin Ross Clarke.
